• The food seminar was held first time in concurrence with "IFTECH PAKISTAN 2009"  

• Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Diwan, Chief Provincial Coordinator, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, graced the seminar as a chief guest

• The First Food Seminar was co-organised by PARC

• More than 250 attendees including director processing, merchandise managers, production managers, supply chain managers, corporate food and beverages managers and other field related officials attended the event

• Distinguished speakers including Mr. Mubarak Ahmed from Sarc, Professor Dr. Khalid Mustafa, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Dr. Abaid Hasnain, University of Karachi, Dr. Muhammad Issa khan Khattak from Nifsat and dr. Muhammad Naeemullah Naeem, Popular Foods Industries limited presented the research papers

• The seminar covered the topics related to quality control measures and their contribution to the overall exports.
